About the maker

I built this because I was the busy dad

For years I told myself the same story. Big weekend planned, so the weekdays did not matter. Then my son drew our family and put me at the edge of the paper, on my laptop. He was six. He was not being mean. He was being accurate.

I did not need a parenting philosophy. I needed something on the table telling me what to do tonight, in ten minutes, without a trip to the store. So I started writing one activity a day for us. Thirty days later our whole rhythm had changed.

Better Together is that experiment, cleaned up, designed properly and shared with other parents. I am not a psychologist. I am a dad who found something that works and could not keep it to himself.
